In Fall 2006, we: • protested Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) weekly for erroneous animal cruelty such as boiling live chickens, snapping bones on live chickens, kicking, hitting and tormenting live chickens, and processing live chickens. The point of this protest it to bring awareness about the inhumane things that KFC is allowing their suppliers to do. The KFC Campaign is an international boycott and lobbying campaign started by PETA. • hosted a Turkeyless Thanksgiving, a vegan Thanksgiving that we do every year. This was a huge success! Many people came (over 45) to eat amazing vegan food. Learn about why our Thanksgivings are vegan here. • tabled at WWU over half a dozen times to promote out club. • hosted a Meat Your Meet showing on campus to raise awareness about what eating animals is about.
